A while back, an .APK installer for an updated Android Music App was yanked out from the digital aether and put on display. Unfortunately, it was a little too force-close-happy for our liking. A little volatility has never derailed the enthusiastic testers at XDA before, though, so we weren't surprised to read that several users had recently discovered something very cool about the app.After checking setting up the app to stream music, it quietly begins uploading your library to Google's cloud (you should receive an account authorization prompt first).
There are plenty of unknowns at the moment -- little details, like where exactly the music is being stored. Given that Google stashes all our Chrome sync goodies in Docs storage, we suspect the Android Music App would drop its payload there, too.
