Around this time last year, all we could do was talk about all the upcoming tablets that manufacturers kept teasing us about with press releases and leaked photos. What a difference a year makes. It's still slim pickings out there, but unlike last year, there's more than just Apple's iPad to choose from. If you're looking for something smaller than a full sized tablet, yet larger than a smartphone, Samsung's 7-inch Wi-Fi only Galaxy Tab is now available for $350.
Samsung's 7-inch Galaxy Tab boasts a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, multi-touch screen with a 1024x600 pixel resolution, integrated GPS, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 3MP rear-facing camera, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, microSD card slot, 16GB of internal storage, and Android 2.2.
If you head over to Samsung's website, you'll find a handful of e-tailers carrying the device, three of which list the item in stock. These include Tiger Direct, Circuit City, and CompUSA, all of which are owned and operated by Systemax. Amazon also carries the 7-inch Galaxy Tab, but it's only available as a pre-order with no estimated ship date.
